Rainy season is here. One typhoon after the other. We've just got back our internet connection yesterday... Thank GOD we're still doing great after typhoon #GlendaPH hit our region last week.
We had lost our water supply, electricity... but Thank GOD we're still alive.
I, personally, learned that we're still luckier, or should I say, more blessed than other people. We still manage to eat at least three meals a day; while many starve and find food in garbage. Only the light had been lost for only few days; while some people are living in darkness all their lives.
In those dark nights, when sweat was part of my evening sleep, I realized the life lessons that this typhoon had taught me.
1. Pray harder. There is God.
2. Conserve water. Water is Life.
3. Conserve Electricity.
4. Camaraderie Amongst Neighbors.
5. Back to basics. Simpler life, no gadgets.
6. Life is most important above anything else.
So the next time you find yourself in your lowest point and you seem to begin to lose faith and hope, that's when you should pray the most. Remind yourself that you're still blessed that you're alive. Pray harder and worry not, there is a 100% chance that God understands our prayers even when we can’t find the words to express them.
